Die technical preview von Windows 10 ist da. Das muss getestet werden. Ich habe meine Gedanken gerade auf Twitter ergossen und will sie aber nochmal für die Nachwelt festhalten. Und für die, die Twitter nicht nutzen.

This is part 2 in my series on TextSecure. Go back to part 1, if you haven’t read it. The analysis took place at the end of february 2014, using revision 5a62856e
(current master at that time).
This part will cover basic project dependencies. The dependencies are important, because they will tell us, what code makes up our project. In projects of this size, there’s usually a nice portion that’s not actually written by the project authors themselves.

Choosing your messenger is pretty easy. Unless you actually really care about security and privacy. If you do, you can’t just go with your friends’ first suggestion. You also can’t trust the vendor’s claims. After all, they are all very secure, according to themselves.
We decided to take a closer look at the android client for TextSecure. On paper, it appears to be the best trade-off of features and security.

- Auf der Kontaktseite findet ihr meinen GPG-Key + Fingerprint
- Die Seite wird nun per default verschlüsselt ausgeliefert
- Verschlüsselung bis zum aktuellsten Standard TLSv1.2
- In allen aktuellen Browsern mit perfect forward secrecy
- Keine externen Verweise mehr (ich hab endlich mal meine Werbe-Spalte deaktiviert)
Außerdem gibt’s den Blog jetzt auch per IPv6.
